The only positive thing was the nurses. They were very kind and didn’t act like I was making up having asthma.

My son and I love Cuyahoga Falls Hospital, You could change the name ten times,( which, I also wish would stop, and the insurance they keep pick and choosing they will take is pure government bs.)but, the people are what make the hospital what it is. They managed to find wonderful people who really care and even when we moved to over 10 miles away, we still only went to " Western Reserve" . So, Thank you, especially Dr.Sasanno, who helped me tremendously. thank you.

I was treated so well here, they treated me as if I were their only patient. I never had to wait for medications or for the nurses to come to my room when I needed them. The food is outstanding!!

When I first went to western reserve a few months ago, EMS had come to my work because I was struggling to breathe (lasted about two hours before I got to western reserve). Western Reserve told me that it was a panic attack and they couldn’t do anything for me and that I needed to just calm down. I went home, still not being able to breathe. The next day I went to my regular doctor (still not able to breathe) and found out I have asthma so now I have a maintenance inhaler and a rescue inhaler. WR sent me home without doing absolutely anything to help my breathing even though I told them it was not a panic attack and something is wrong. They did nothing for me.

I come to this hospital a lot because of the fact that my doctor is all the way in Parma. I have been here since 11:30pm and it is now 1:00am. I told them I have been having symptoms of an ectopic pregnancy and they just ignored that fact. I came in because I have been having bad shoulder and chest pain on the right side to the point I was in tears. They kept me here until 1:30am and the rude ass doctor came in and basically told me to go home that I was fine. Worst hospital I’ve been to seriously !

I went to the hospital at 3am with severe abdominal pain. 1st two people I dealt with could careless about how much pain I was in. Then I get to room and met the nurse, who was little bit better. The doctor was worst. Came in started asking some questions, than called out of the room. When he came back didn't finish asking the questions. Order a whole bunch of test. Came in to give results said I couldn't find anything wrong, you can be released. Great what about my pain????? does it even still hurt?? Yes!!! Wrote a scrip for pain said to call my family doctor.....

Last night, I vacuumed up cat litter and I’m allergic to cats. I had an asthma attack and my inhaler wasn’t helping so after two hours I went to Western Reserve. I waited an hour and a half in an exam room, barely being able to breathe, until anyone even came in to see me. After sitting for that long, it had started to feel a little better but I was still struggling to breathe and I had chest pain. When the doctor did come in, she listened to my lungs and said she didn’t hear anything wrong with my breathing and she didn’t think it was an asthma attack because I wasn’t wheezing so she wanted to do an EKG and x-ray. I told her I have never had wheezing as a side affect of my asthma and my entire body was shaking while she was listening to my breathing. It was like my lungs were stuttering and I was VISIBLY not able to breathe well. I told her I had gone through this before and all they did was give me a nebulizer (an inhaler x10) and I was fine. She acted like I was making it all up but agreed to give me the breathing treatment. I told her I didn’t want any of the other tests; I’m not going to go through a bunch of expensive, time consuming tests when I already know what’s wrong. So I waited half an hour for the respiratory therapist and was finally treated. I was there for 3 hours and it should have taken 20 minutes at most to treat me. The doctor obviously had no idea what she was talking about regarding asthma. Also there was medical trash on the floor around my bed, the floor was just overal unclean, and an earring was sitting on the counter. I will never go back to WR again.
