The staff is always courtesy and helpful. Very organized and professional establishment!
I usually shop here but am completely dissatisfied with the way they handle their"rain checks"!. There is NO expiration date on them yet when I went there to purchase the simply tide laundry soap the cashier said "eeh I think that expired". I asked her nicely to please ask a Manager to come explain to me why a rain check with no expiration date on it could be expired. The manager did not come talk to me, the cashier instead said " yeah, that's over with. Do you even want the rest of your stuff?" Poor decision on the manager's part... Now I'm writing this.
Always had friendly service. They always have what I'm looking for and they seem to rotate their sales every week. An example is their but one get one free. The beginning of the month they have that sale. The next week Pepsi is on sale. Or three 1/2 gallons of Giant Eagle ice cream for $10 another week. They always have 5 packs of meat for $20. They're an excellent buy for my 14 year old and I. $25 a month and we are fed.
Very clean shopping area great team members at this location. The only reason I don't give a 5 stars is because the prices are very high compared to the local Acme. Great selection of food at this location. The hand roled sushi is outstanding.
It's almost all self checkout now. Self checkout is always a fail for me. I prefer to spend a little extra at a local Supermarket chain that still employs people. When gasoline went to self-serve, the price was lower to pump for yourself. In grocery stores, there is no incentive - just a flashing light when the automated system does not like the way I bag my own groceries. Maybe someday customer service will return. For now, I only shop here when I do not have other options.
